Community Spirit: Join Interfaith Food Ministry's Easter Celebrations

Instructions

In the heart of Grass Valley, California, the esteemed Interfaith Food Ministry (IFM) extends a warm invitation to local families for their much-anticipated Easter Community Meals. As the proud recipient of the Best Nonprofit award in Nevada County, IFM aims to bring communities together with love and gratitude during this festive season.

Elevate Your Easter with Heartfelt Gatherings

Discover the joy of communal celebration as IFM partners with local churches to offer three exclusive dinners. These events promise not only delicious meals but also a sense of belonging and connection among attendees.

A Celebration Across Locations

The festivities will take place at three distinct venues across Nevada County. Families are encouraged to select one date that suits them best, ensuring they partake in an evening filled with warmth and camaraderie.

On Friday, April 18, the Truth Worship Center located at 1784 Ridge Rd opens its doors at 6:00 PM. Following this, Peace Lutheran Church at 828 W Main St hosts the gathering on Tuesday, April 22, while Emmanuel Episcopal Church situated at 235 S Church St welcomes guests on Wednesday, April 23, both starting promptly at 6:00 PM.

Making Your Reservation Count

To ensure all participants enjoy a seamless experience, reservations are mandatory and must be finalized 48 hours prior to each event. Given the limited availability, early booking is highly recommended to secure your spot.

Accessing the reservation portal is straightforward. Simply navigate to this link, identical to the one utilized for food pickups. After logging in, mark the “Easter” option, choose one meal location, and specify your preferred dish—either Ham or Turkey. Remember to indicate the total number of family members attending in the designated notes section before finalizing your submission.

Confirmation Process Simplified

Your reservation request does not automatically translate into confirmation. It’s essential to revisit your account at least 48 hours ahead of the chosen event to verify approval status. No separate notifications will be dispatched, underscoring the importance of proactive checking.

This method ensures equitable distribution and accommodates as many families as possible within available resources. The team at IFM appreciates your understanding and cooperation in adhering to these guidelines.

A Mission Rooted in Compassion

Phil Alonso, Executive Director of IFM, expresses heartfelt sentiments about the significance of these gatherings. He emphasizes how profoundly meaningful it is for families to congregate and feel supported during special occasions like Easter.

Established in 1987, IFM has steadfastly addressed food insecurity issues in Nevada County. Their dedication to delivering nourishing provisions reflects their unwavering commitment to fostering dignity and care within the community. Being recognized as the Best Nonprofit further fuels their mission to continually enhance lives through compassionate service.
